21弦加 (弹撥组合)
21弦加由加拿大音樂家江革鈴、谭宇莎、黄思佳組成,是一支加拿大新生的弹撥组合,现階段以中國樂器21弦筝的三重奏为主要形式,並嘗試將筝與不同的樂器結合,以探索新的音響效果。在曲目上,樂團一方面蒐集不同國家的作曲家的優秀作品,一方面委託作曲家創作新曲。目前的曲目來自德国、日本、韩国、中国以及加拿大的作曲家的作品。

戶獻文 – 中國古箏演奏家
1998年啟蒙於民間藝人吳孝老師,2000年考入武漢音樂學院附小,師從趙毅老師;2003年免試直升入武漢音樂學院附中,師從高雁、蔡曉璐老師;2009年以第一名的成績考入武漢音樂學院民樂系,師從胡菁老師;2013年以第一名的成績考入武漢音樂學院研究生部,師從高雁老師。另外,自2005年起隨王中山老師學習,並先後得到吳青、何寶泉老師等多位箏界名家的指導。
獲全國“敦煌杯”古箏藝術展演青年專業組“銀獎”、湖北省“金編鐘”青年專業組“金獎”、第二屆“金蘆笙”比賽青年專業組彈撥類銀獎(古箏組第一名)。 多次參加CCTV“風華國樂”欄目的錄製;加入“東方中樂團”,多次於國家大劇院、琴台大劇院演出。與德國作曲家老鑼合作,並在2014年初於武漢創建古箏三重奏組合“野山羊”箏樂團,並錄製CD專輯。 撰寫論文《老鑼古箏重奏曲表演研究》,獲研究生優秀論文;參加國家藝術基金“中原絃索藝術人才培養”項目,並撰寫論文《論河南版頭曲與小調箏曲》。撰寫的論文《箏樂重奏演奏與發展》、《論河南板頭曲與小調箏曲》入選中國“第八屆古箏藝術學術交流會論文集”。

 

21 弦加樂團
江革玲,彈撥樂演奏家,自幼學習琵琶, 1978年考入湖北省戲曲學校京劇科,主修戲曲樂器京二胡、月琴、三弦等。1988年師從武漢音樂學院吳青教授習箏。1993年代表湖北編鐘樂團訪問日本,並接受日本經濟新聞採訪。曾參與撰寫《中國音樂文物大系》及錄製多部廣播劇、電視劇配樂。1993到2004年間,曾出訪日本、美國、新加坡、香港、台灣。2004年移居加拿大後,加入多個音樂團體,先後擔任溫哥華跨文化管弦樂團 (Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra)、紅庭室內樂隊 (Red Chamber)、BC中樂團/BC華夏精英樂團 (BC Chinese Orchestra & BC Chinese Music Ensemble)、蘭韻中樂團 (Orchid Ensemble) 以及雲玲樂團 (Cloud Bell Ensemble)的主要成員。同時擔任BC青年中樂團彈撥指導教師。自2005年起,江革玲在北美各地的音樂廳、民俗音樂節以及爵士樂節演出,同時與不同風格的樂手合作,融合不同文化的樂器,並學習即興演奏技巧。於現代音樂的領域,江革玲首演了許多箏、琵琶、三弦、阮等樂器的作品,她多方面的演奏才能,受到加拿大作曲家的推崇。

譚宇莎,師從著名古箏演奏家、教育家王蔚教授,2008年獲得上海音樂學院古箏演奏學士學位。在校期間曾代表上海音樂學院民族樂隊,參加包括與上海民族樂團合作的大型演出。2007年獲得亞洲明日之星比賽古箏青年專業組銀獎,同年獲得上海祥音杯新作品重奏比賽優秀獎。2008年移居溫哥華後,參與了多個音樂團體和音樂節的演出,成功首演了多首新作品。2016年參與溫哥華中華樂團舉行的“亞洲之聲-箏的對話”音樂會,與日本箏演奏家松元香壽惠和韓國伽倻琴演奏家同台競奏,獲得巨大反響。2017年與庇詩中樂團合作《雲裳訴》,是該作品首次在溫哥華演出。

黃思佳 ,師從著名古箏演奏家、教育家王蔚教授,2011年獲得上海音樂學院民族管弦樂古箏教學碩士學位,在校期間曾與上海民族樂團、上海市中福會民樂團,閔行區少兒民樂團等多次合作,參加各類大型演出。2005年獲得東方之星比賽古箏組銀獎。同年帶領學生參與東方推新人樂器大賽,以《茉莉芬芳》一曲獲得了民樂合奏組金獎,並獲得了優秀指導教師。2012年移居溫哥華後,與庇詩中樂團、溫哥華中華樂團等多個音樂團體合作。2017年與溫哥華愛樂青年交響樂團合作演奏古箏協奏曲《漁舟唱晚》,贏得了巨大反響。

21 Strings Plus (Vancouver)
Founded by multi-instrumentalist Geling Jiang, 21 Strings Plus is a new Vancouver ensemble of plucked instruments. Using the 21-string zheng/Chinese zither as the foundation, 21 Strings Plus aims to explore the combination of the zheng and various plucked instruments to seek new sounds. The main body of works of the ensemble is a diverse collection of contemporary compositions for a zheng trio, an unprecedented instrumentation and approach. It features German, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and Canadian composers.

Xian Wen Hu (China) – zheng 
Hu started to study the zheng in 1998. In 2000, she was admitted to the elementary division of the Wuhan Conservatory of Music, followed by the school’s high school division in 2003. In 2009, she entered the Wuhan Conservatory of Music with the highest marks, and in 2013 she won the first place in the audition for the conservatory’s graduate school. Hu has won many awards, including the silver medal of the National “Dunhuang” Competition for the Zheng, the gold medal of the Hubei “Golden Bell” Competition for the Zheng, the silver medal of the Plucked Instruments category of the 2nd “Golden Mouth Organ” Competition (1st prize of the zheng category). Hu has performed frequently on CCTV. As a member of Oriental Chinese Ensemble, she has appeared at the National Concert Hall and the Qintai Concert Hall. She collaborates with German composer Robert Zollitsch and founds the Wild Goat Zheng Ensemble in 2014, releasing CDs and publishing articles about Zollitsch’s zheng compositions.

Geling Jiang 江革玲
Geling Jiang is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, who started her professional training at the age of 10. After graduating from Wuhan Music Conservatory, she joined the Chime Bell Ensemble of Hubei, China for 20 years and has participated at numerous radio broadcasts, TV programs, and film recordings, and toured the United States, Japan and Singapore with the ensemble. After moving to Canada in 2004, she has performed across Canada, the US, Philippines, the Netherlands, Malaysia, and China, as a zheng player with the Orchid Ensemble and the sanxian/ruan/zheng player with the Red Chamber and Cloud Bell Ensemble. She has been a guest with the Vancouver Symphony, UBC Symphony, and Elektra Women’s Choir and taught at UBC School of music. Geling has premiered John Oliver’s sanxian concerto with Nu:BC in 2013. She performed liuqin concerto with BC Chinese Orchestra in Vancouver and a jingerhu concerto in Bellingham, WA in 2012 and at Benaroya Hall in Seattle in 2013. Geling has worked with numerous composers, including Dorothy Chang, Owen Unhill, Moshe Denburg, Mark Armanini, and Hope Lee. She has performed on several CDs with Red Chamber, B.C Chinese Music Ensemble, and Vancouver Inter-Cultural Orchestra.

Sarah Tan 谭宇莎
Sarah Tan graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2008. In 2007, Sarah won silver medal in the Asia Star Competition. After moving to Canada, she has appeared in many concerts. In 2016, Sarah collaborated with koto player Kozue Matsumoto and kayagum player Grace Lee at the concert “Sonuds of Asia – Zheng Dialogue”. Sarah is a member of the Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble.

Sijia Huang 黄思佳
Sijia Huang studied with Wei Wang and graduated from Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2011 with a master degree in zheng performance. As a member of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, Shanghai Zhongfuhui Orchestra, and Minhang Junior Orchestra, she has performed in many concerts in China. She won the silver medal in the Asia Star Competition in 2005. With her students, she performed at the Oriental Instrumental Competition and won the gold medal. In 2012, she moved to Vancouver and performed with the BC Chinese Orchestra and Vancouver Chinese Music Ensemble. In 2017, she performed zheng concerto with the Vancouver Youth Philharmonic Orchestra.
