Dewdrop Mist is an algorithmically generated composition where each musical note is created in isolation, uninfluenced by other notes. Those notes come from random numbers fed through an array of statistical equations / algorithms which form a sort of Law of Musical Quantum Physics. By pure statistical chance, moments of apparent coherence between notes (such as melody, harmony or syncopation) may spontaneously emerge.
